Diamonds The successful journey to reach the milestone of Diamond is just a beginning for us. Both of us were great dreamers. But ever since our marriage in 1993, life was a great struggle for us. I was a junior revenue officer with the Government Revenue Department since 1992 and was also running a real estate business for extra income. My wife was a teacher. Despite of her hectic schedule, she was trying to balance between her profession and family life. Though I worked over 10 to 12 hours, I couldn’t nourish my dreams and was looking for an opportunity that could make them true. My wife is an intuitive lady and always said “someday someone will come and show us the right path that could change our lives”. I didn’t understand her intuition, till Amway Business Opportunity knocked our doors. A close friend of mine introduced us to the Amway business opportunity. From the very beginning we could completely relate to this opportunity as it has similar fundamentals of ethics and love which are also the foundation and strength of our family. Despite my busy schedule, I got involved in this business wholeheartedly. My wife left her job within one year of our joining. In 2001, we reached Emerald level and then I opted for voluntary retirement from my job. Then, we got ourselves more involved into the business. Our daughter Darshdeep Kaur was four and our son Shamash Uday Singh was one and a half years old when we started this business. Today, because of Amway they are studying in one of the best boarding schools. Now, I have overcome the stress and financial challenges of the traditional business. I also enjoy a dream-like lifestyle and quality time with my wife while we are progressing in the business. We always wanted to reach for the stars – now we are Amway stars. Apart from the financial growth in this business, we have experienced a lot of spiritual and personal enhancement that comes through interacting with wide range of personalities and situations. This business is a great teamwork. I was a leading football player and team spirit is in my heart. Similar to the football field, here also your mentors help you while you lead all your team members ahead. To live in a world with smiling face, excited heart, applauding hands, positive attitude and all encompassing success, there is only one way - Amway. Love and togetherness, hard work, commitment, honesty and integrity, our mentors’ guidance and our team’s efforts are the strong pillars upon which we have built our business.
